("Gaming VC" or "the Company") Statement re New Lottery State Treaty The Board of Gaming VC notes the recent decision by 15 of the 16 Premiers of theGerman Bundeslanders to postpone the signing of the new state treaty ongambling. In its current form the new state treaty would retain the monopoly inthe German lottery market and to a large extent ban remote gambling. Thedecision to postpone the vote follows considerable discussion at bothBundeslander and federal level. A further announcement regarding the treaty will be made as soon as additionalinformation is available. The Board of Gaming VC notes the recent share price movement and pressspeculation that it is in discussions with certain parties which may or may notlead to a formal offer being made for the Company. The Board wishes to confirmthat, from time to time, it has discussions regarding the strategic options ofthe Company.
