Ark Therapeutics Group PLC17 January 2008 Ark Therapeutics Group plc Dealing by Employee Benefit Trust London, UK, 17 January 2008 Ark Therapeutics Group plc ("Ark" or the "Company")announces that on 4 January 2008 it allotted 1,355,000 ordinary shares of 1pence each in the capital of the Company to Walbrook Trustees (Guernsey) Limitedas trustee of the Ark Therapeutics Group Employee Benefit Trust (the "EBT), at aprice of 94 pence per share, to be held on discretionary trusts in favour of thebeneficiaries of the EBT. Application is being made to the UK Listing Authority for admission of 1,355,000new ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the capital of the Company to theOfficial List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange. It is expected thatadmission will become effective and dealings in such shares will commence on orafter 18 January 2008. Following admission, the Trust will hold 4,705,304ordinary shares in the Company representing 2.29% of the current issued sharecapital of the Company.
