Costain announces the resignation of Mr Mohd Hussein Ab Hamid from the Group Board following his retirement from the UEM Group of Companies ("UEM"). Mr Hamid's resignation is effective as from 4 December 2009 and it is anticipated that a replacement for Mr Hamid will be nominated by UEM in due course.
Chairman, David Allvey, commented: "We are grateful to Hussein for his efforts on behalf of Costain and we wish him well in his retirement."
