Re: Directorate Appointment
Renold, a leading international supplier of industrial chains and related power transmission products, today announces an earlier start date for the new Chief Executive.
Further to the announcement on 20 November 2012 of the appointment of Robert Purcell to the position of Chief Executive with effect from 1 May 2013, the Company is pleased to announce that this start date has been brought forward to 21 January 2013.
Mark Harper, currently Executive Chairman, will relinquish his executive responsibilities from Robert's new start date and will continue in the role of Non-Executive Chairman.
Mark Harper, Chairman, commented:
"I am delighted that we have been able to secure an earlier start date for Robert as this will accelerate the operational improvement programme which is already underway".
