Carillion PLC03 October 2005 3 October 2005 Carillion joint venture signs £350 million FM contract with BT Support services and construction company Carillion's joint venture Monteray,has signed a £350 million contract to extend its facilities management (FM)agreement with BT by a further three years. Monteray currently has a five year contract with BT that is due to expire inMarch 2006. This contract will extend the current FM agreement to March 2009. Commenting on the extension, Carillion's chief executive, John McDonough said: "Monteray is delighted to continue to be BT's FM service partner for a furtherthree years to March 2009. Monteray looks forward to continuing to develop itssuccessful relationship with BT through the delivery of high quality,nationwide, value added FM services." Monteray provides BT with a comprehensive range of facilities managementservices at some 7,500 UK buildings and sites. These services include buildingmanagement, structure and fabric maintenance, M&E maintenance, cleaning, groundsmaintenance, minor project works and security. Monteray is a joint venture between Carillion (51%), Haden Building Management(24.5%) and Reliance Integrated Services (24.5%).
