Mears Group PLC12 October 2007 12 October 2007 Mears secures £50m Response and Repairs Contract Mears Group PLC is pleased to have won a 10 year contract, worth £50m, to carryout response and repairs work for Midland Heart Housing Association. MidlandHeart is one of the top ten housing and regeneration groups in the country andthe largest based in the Midlands. The operation will be based out ofWolverhampton where we have an existing partnership with Wolverhampton Homes. Commenting on the contract win, Mears Chairman, Bob Holt, said "We are delighted to be awarded a further partnership contract to strengthen our Midlands operation in Social Housing. The contract, which has been awarded for ten years, demonstrates a significant commitment from a client with whom we have not worked in the past.
