AUTONOMY ENTERS INTO MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH BAE SYSTEMS

Cambridge, UK - 5 January 2009 - Autonomy Corporation plc (LSE: AU. or AU.L), a global leader in infrastructure software for the enterprise, today announced that it has entered into a multi-million dollar license agreement with BAE Systems to license Autonomy's Intelligent Data Operating Layer software for archiving.
