CROMA GROUP PLC ("CROMA" OR "THE GROUP")
Further Contract Wins
The Board of Croma, the avionics, access control and asset protection specialist, is pleased to announce further contract wins in the Group. RDDS, its wholly owned avionics subsidiary, has won over £500,000 of new business, principally with existing clients such as the MOD. This is in addition to wins announced in the Group's Vigilant subsidiary, announced on 3rd February.
The value of new contracts won this calendar year to date is now anticipated to bring in not less than £2.5 million of turnover over the year ahead, most of which will fall into the Group accounting period ending 30 June 2010.
Sebastian Morley, CEO, commented "This is further evidence of a turnaround of the Group's fortunes. We highlighted in the recent announcement of our Group results that we had cut the business cost base as far as possible and that we were set fair for winning new contracts and exploiting new business avenues. We are delighted with this continuation of contract wins, this time in our RDDS business, to complement the recent announcement of wins by our Vigilant business. Once again, we are getting recognised for our uncompromising approach to customer service. We look forward now to better news from our access control division in the near future."
