15th December 2006 SERVICEPOWER TECHNOLOGIES PLC ("ServicePower" or the "Company") CONTRACT WIN ServicePower announces agreement with Empire Commercial
ServicePower's Field Service Solutions (FSS) Division, a provider of Web-based, automated job scheduling and warranty chain management services for service delivery and installation industries, today announced that it signed an agreement with Empire Commercial Ltd ("Empire") to provide outsourced installation and repair services for consumer electrical and white goods. This outsourcing contract is estimated to be worth in excess of ‚£800,000 revenue per year, based upon volumes from a year-long pilot, and means the FSS Europe business is expected to be operating at EBITDA profit on a month by month basis from January 2007.
Empire will outsource insurance inspections and repairs of both consumer electrical goods such as flat panel televisions and white goods such as washing machines. In addition Empire will outsource warranty inspection work.
Empire is the largest insurance electrical replacement company in the UK. Empire has now been in operation for over 20 years and has stated a turnover target this year of ‚£150 million.
