The seaport contracts arein addition and not related to the £626,000 contract announced in March 2006regarding a 10-year project sponsored by the UK Government. The Talon ANPR technology will be operated by UK government agencies and will beused for counter terrorism and crime reduction initiatives. The contracts werewon in a competitive tender process.
