Carillion PLC15 January 2007 15 January 2007 Additional Defence work for Carillion Support services and construction company, Carillion plc, has been awarded sevencontracts for construction work on Ministry of Defence sites. This work is underthe auspices of the Regional Prime Central contract held by CarillionEnterprise,under which it is providing support services worth £500 million over sevenyears. The contracts comprise: •Infrastructure £25 million •Support Facilities £40 million •Training Facilities £15 million •Airfield Works £20 million The Regional Prime support services contract was awarded in November 2005 to a50:50 joint venture between Carillion and Enterprise. It involves maintenance ofthe MoD's built estate of around 8,500 buildings and other assets throughout theMidlands, North of England and Wales. The additional construction work to be undertaken by Carillion will includeprojects in Yorkshire, Anglesey and the Midlands. Design work is being deliveredby TPS, Carillion's architecture and management consultancy business.
