3 April, 2006 ROLLS-ROYCE TO POWER TWO ADDITIONAL CARGOLUX 747 FREIGHTERS Eurpoean freight operator, Cargolux Airlines International S.A., has againselected the Rolls-Royce RB211-524H-T engine to power its two additional Boeing747-400F freighters, scheduled for delivery in 2007 and 2008.These new aircraft will take Cargolux's fleet of Rolls-Royce powered 747s to 11out of a total of 16 aircraft.The engines for both aircraft will be included into the existing TotalCare‚®agreement which has been extended for an additional five years.Ulrich Ogiermann, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cargolux, said: "TheRolls-Royce RB211 engines provide us with optimum versatility and economics forour 747-400 freighters while minimising the environmental impact of ourworldwide operation."Charles Cuddington, Chief Commercial Officer, Civil Large Engines atRolls-Royce, added: "Repeat orders demonstrate confidence in our products andsupport.
