Pennant International Group PLC19 May 2005 Pennant International Group plc Pennant takes additional £1 million of orders Pennant Training Systems Ltd and Pennant Information Services Ltd have betweenthem won orders with an aggregate value in excess of £1 million. The orders include contracts for BAE Systems to provide training system softwarefor the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Hawk jet programme and Kawasaki HeavyIndustries, Ltd ("KHI") in Japan to produce a full suite of maintenance manualsand provide training support for KHI's construction of new railcars for TaipeiCity. The contract, awarded by BAE Systems, is for additional courseware for computerbased training systems used for the RAAF Hawk jet programme. The contract,worth around £300,000 covers both design and production of the new courseware. The contract, awarded by KHI, is to provide KHI's client engineers andmaintenance staff with the required technical information to carry out tasksassociated with maintaining the new railcars. It includes operating andmaintenance manuals, training courseware and course delivery, the differentelements being progressively phased during 2005/06.
