Re: Comcast, TimeWarnerCable and Charter Transaction
Digital Globe Services, Ltd. (AIM: DGS), a leading provider of online customer, lead, and inquiry acquisition and digital marketing solutions for large, consumer-facing organisations, acknowledges that on 24 April 2015 Comcast Cable, TimeWarnerCable and Charter Communications announced that the three-way merger transaction, first announced in February 2014, has been terminated effective 24 April 2015. The three entities represent DGS's largest customers.
As previously announced, the ongoing merger had created a stasis which impacted the Company's half year results through 31 December 2014. The Board believes that the culmination of this process should result in a return to stability in the Company's core US telecoms market and, given its proven ability, the Company continues to be well placed to procure and convert high value, long-term subscribers on behalf of its cable partners.
The Company looks forward to working with its cable partners in growing customers through the highly cost-effective, on-line customer acquisition channel, and to continuing to diversify its revenue base through expansion into new geographies and entry into further new industry verticals.
