Earthport PLC23 March 2005 Stock Exchange Announcement For immediate release 23rd March 2005 earthport plc ("earthport") Update regarding Baltimore Technologies PLC ("Baltimore") litigation Following earthport providing Security for Costs, the Court ordered Baltimore toserve its defence by 25th March 2005. Baltimore requested from earthport on 15th March 2005 an extension of time from25th March 2005 to 22nd April 2005 to submit their defence, because of variousdelaying factors including availability of ex-Baltimore management and staff andlocation of documents. earthport in response suggested an extension period oftwo weeks, which has been accepted by Baltimore. earthport is surprised by the above delay and apparent difficulties in theservice of Baltimore's defence, given previous RNS announcements made byBaltimore, specifically RNS 4746H dated 18th January 2005 and RNS 6264F on 25thNovember 2004, implying a lack of merit in earthport's claim.
