Aviva Annuity UK Limited (a subsidiary of Aviva plc) today announced the launch of an invitation to holders of certain mortgage backed notes issued by Equity Release Funding (No.3) plc, Equity Release Funding (No.4) plc and Equity Release Funding (No.5) plc to tender their notes for purchase by Aviva Annuity UK Limited (the "Invitation to Tender"). Please refer to the Aviva Annuity UK Limited announcement for further details of the Invitation to Tender.
Aviva plc confirms that the Invitation to Tender is limited to those mortgage backed notes listed in this morning's announcement. Neither this tailored exercise announced by Aviva Annuity UK Limited nor this morning's announcement made by Equity Release Funding (No.3) PLC has any relevance to any debt or capital instrument issued by Aviva PLC.
