Re-Appointment of Smt. Shikha Sharma as Managing Director & CEO - Axis Bank

At the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Bank held today, the Board has approved the reappointment of Smt. Shikha Sharma as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank for a further period of three years with effect from 1st June 2012 i.e. for the period 1st June 2012 to 31st May, 2015. The re-appointment will be subject to approval of the Reserve Bank of India and subject to confirmation by the shareholders of the Bank at the next General Meeting.
