RHM plc29 June 2006 29 June 2006 RHM plc Appointment of Non-executive Director The Board of RHM plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian Buchan as anon-executive director of the Company with effect from 1 July 2006. He will beinvited to join RHM's Audit, Remuneration and Nominations Committees. Brian Buchan was Chief Executive Officer of SSL International plc between 2001and 2004. He spent the previous 26 years with Procter & Gamble in a number ofmarketing and general management roles. He is currently a non-executivedirector of Richmond Foods Plc and Chesapeake Corporation. Commenting on the appointment, Jan du Plessis, Chairman of RHM plc said: "We are delighted that Brian has agreed to join the RHM Board. The operationalexperience and consumer insight that he brings, from over 30 years spent at theforefront of the consumer goods Sector, will be invaluable as we continue totransform RHM into the leading UK focused food company."
