Antofagasta PLC22 May 2006 Antofagasta plc Correction to Explanation of Special Business contained in the 2005 Annual Report and Financial Statements London, 22 May 2006 Antofagasta plc today will post a letter to shareholders correcting in onerespect the Explanation of Special Business section of the 2005 Annual Reportand Financial Statements. The correction relates to the description of one ofthe articles of the revised new articles of association which are proposed foradoption at the Annual General Meeting and the Class Meetings to be held on 14June 2006.
