Cyan Holdings Plc19 June 2007 Press Release 19 June 2007 Cyan Holdings plc ("Cyan" or "the Company") New agreement speeds Cyan's entry into the wireless market Cyan Holdings plc (AIM: CYAN.L) the fabless semiconductor company specialising in the development of low powered, configurable microcontroller chips, is pleased to announce that it has completed a joint development and marketing agreement with Adaptive Modules Ltd an established supplier of wireless modules to European Markets which will speed up Cyan's entry into the wireless market. Kenn Lamb, CEO of Cyan commented: "Following my description of Cyan's newstrategy at the recent AGM I am delighted to be making our first announcement ofa partnership in the wireless communication space. Cyan already had acapability in wireless communication and has developed valuable applicationsoftware that enables flexible and low cost production solutions. AdaptiveModules already had a customer requirement and by agreeing a partnership whereAdaptive become the manufacturing and sales channel with a product enhanced byCyan's MCU and programmed by Cyan's software tools will accelerate and broadenCyan's penetration of this fast growing market. This initial moduledemonstrates that Cyan can offer cost savings through a reduced bill ofmaterials, faster time to market through use of our graphical tools and addedvalue through application software which is sold at extra cost alongside theMCU's as an integral part of this agreement. The agreementlicenses an existing wireless module design developed by Cyan together withapplication software integrated as a complete system. Adaptive Modules willmanufacture and market this module and future modules to its broad base ofcustomers. Adaptive's customers may choose to simply deploy this module in theirproduction product, or to modify or extend the software by using a modified butintegral Cyan graphical software development system.
