Announcement re: Adjournment of today's General Meeting
On 24 June 2009, Micro Focus International plc (MCRO.L or "Micro Focus" or "Company") published its circular relating to the proposed acquisition of Borland Software Corporation ("Borland") (the "Acquisition") and notice of general meeting to be held at 5pm today ("Original General Meeting").
On 9 July 2009, Micro Focus published a supplementary shareholder circular containing a revised notice of general meeting to be held at 9am on 24 July 2009 ("Revised General Meeting")
The Company accordingly announces that the Original General Meeting to be held today was automatically adjourned indefinitely in the absence of a quorum.
The Company wishes to remind shareholders that the Revised General Meeting to approve the Acquisition will be held at 9am on 24 July 2000 at The Lawn, 22-30 Old Bath Road, Newbury, Berkshire, RG14 1QN.
