RBS completes sale of Global Merchant Services to a consortium of Advent International and Bain Capital

The Royal Bank of Scotland Group ("RBS") announces today that it has completed the sale of its Global Merchant Services ("GMS") business to a consortium of Advent International and Bain Capital following regulatory and other approvals. RBS will hold a minority stake in the new GMS business, to be known as WorldPay.
