Strong performance within Healthcare and Technology sectors bumps Daniel Stewart up to number one spot in the Hemscott AIM broker rankings by number of clients

The Board of Daniel Stewart & Co., stockbroker and corporate finance adviser to smaller and medium-sized companies, is pleased to announce that it is continuing to strengthen its reputation as a broker and AIM adviser.

The latest Hemscott AIM rankings revealed a robust performance by Daniel Stewart moving from 14th to 10th ranked broker (compared to January 2009). The Company's performance within the Technology (4th in January 2009) and Healthcare arenas (5th in January 2009) was especially impressive as it jumped up to top ranked broker in both sectors by number of clients.

Daniel Stewart's reputation within the Technology sector has been strongly enhanced by analyst Mike Jeremy - who provides research on a range of companies - including Carphone Warehouse and Avanti Communications. Within the healthcare sector, Vadim Alexandre's impressive stock picking record is highly valued, having been invited to appear on CNBC and in investment publications to provide his expert opinion on the sector.
