FORENSIC EVENT SHOWCASES NEXT GENERATION OF REVOLUTIONARY TECHNOLOGY
Representatives of government, police forces, industry and academia are gathering in Glasgow this week for the launch of the latest version of R2S Forensic, a technology that photographically captures everything from crime scenes to critical infrastructure; streamlining process, enhancing communication, understanding and safety. The event is taking place on 26th March.
R2S Forensic, part of SeaEnergy PLC, was developed in conjunction with law enforcement specialists and utilises high resolution, 360° spherical photographs, seamlessly combined to create virtual visual walk-throughs of target environments.
The software system and ancillary services have been used in major criminal investigations, including ongoing and highly confidential incident investigations both in the UK and internationally. It has also proven its value for vital planning projects, such as the G8 Conference in Northern Ireland in 2013, a feature of one the presentations to be delivered.
Laura Fairley, Lead Forensic Consultant for R2S Forensic commented.
"We are delighted to bring together speakers from the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) and the World renowned Forensic soil scientist, Lorna Dawson of the James Hutton Institute to discuss R2S technologies and their applications to the world of forensics. Sharing knowledge and expertise across this field is vitally important in the advancement of these technologies and how they are employed in the future"
R2S Visual Asset Management (VAM), a sister offering to R2S Forensic is achieving equally exciting results for the offshore oil and gas industry, working with four of the five super majors and 17 operating companies globally.
Ends.
