Stagecoach Group PLC24 October 2006 Stagecoach Group Qualifying Employee Share Trust ("the Trust") Stagecoach Group plc ("the Company") has been notified today, 24 October 2006,that the Trust has purchased Ordinary Shares of 12/19th pence each in theCompany as follows: Date Number of Shares Price paid per share 24 October 2006 451,000 135.0 pence Following the purchase, the Trust holds a total of 6,564,264 Ordinary Sharesrepresenting 0.60% of the Company's issued Ordinary Shares. The shares are heldby the Trust in order to satisfy the exercise of share options.
