New access road to PPA's Quadling quarry open
PPA, the British Columbia based aggregates company, is pleased to announce that during the afternoon of Friday 26 March 2010, the new haulage access road to PPA's Quadling quarry ("Quadling") was opened.
Quadling is now receiving orders from customers to purchase the 150,000 tonnes of processed material currently sitting on the quarry floor. The selling of this material will allow the Company to complete the purchase and set up the crushing equipment for Quadling that will be delivered to site within the next month. This will allow the Company to produce the more valuable specification aggregates and offer a full range of product to customers.
During this week a further newsletter will be posted on the Company's website with photographs showing the new road and with customer's trucks being loaded at Quadling.
William Voaden, Managing Director of PPA, commented:
"This is a momentous day for PPA's shareholders and our employees. After 18 months of hard work to turn this situation around we have delivered a working quarry. We have planned and developed Quadling so it can become a long term profitable enterprise. The location is ideal for the quarry to become a significant supplier of aggregate into the current and forthcoming infrastructure works within the Fraser Valley."
