Purchase Order ahead of European Launch of XF3
Europe's largest Consumer Electronics retailer partners with Xeros
on External Microfibre Filter
Xeros Technology Group plc (AIM: XSG), the creator of technologies that reduce the impact of clothing on the planet, is pleased to announce that its XF3 manufacturing partner Donlim, has received a Purchase Order from MediaMarkt, Europe's largest consumer electronics retailer for an initial production run of XF3 units.
The XF3 Microfibre Filtration unit will be launched under MediaMarkt's 'in house' brand, Koenic, and will feature Xeros Technology as a sub brand. MediaMarkt has over a thousand stores throughout continental Europe and turnover of ?23 billion. Further details of the launch plans will be announced in due course, but we can confirm that the units will be sold into major European cities and are anticipated to be available in stores in late calendar Q2 2026.
Product Care Group, the distributor for the Russell Hobbs branded unit, have informed us that they are on track to also launch the XF3 in late Q2 into UK electronic consumer retailers, and we will provide further details soon.
The third partner for the XF3, which we have reported on previously, is a major global appliance manufacturer and one of the world's largest producers of washing machines. This process is now in its final stages and also on track to launch in the current calendar year.
We continue to attract attention from major global washing machine brands and retailers alike and have a strong pipeline for further partnerships.
In addition, the XF3 unit recently underwent independent verification with the Hohenstein Institute, and we are pleased to report that the unit outperformed our current claims. In microfibre capture it is now certified as providing 98% capture rate which is market leading.
Xeros entered into a strategic partnership agreement with Donlim in September 2024, which included a contract for Donlim to manufacture Xeros' External Microfibre Filter, XF3 under licence.
Neil Austin, CEO of Xeros said: "We are excited to be able to confirm the identity of our second launch partner for XF3. MediaMarkt are unparalleled in their size and reach across Europe. Their decision to partner with Xeros to provide a solution to microfibre pollution is a significant endorsement for the pre-eminence of our technology.
"The independent verification by Hohenstein was undertaken as part of the testing process. We have always been confident that our filter is the market leader in terms of performance and capture, and these independent results give confidence for the units' market potential."

About Xeros
Xeros Technology plc has developed patented and proven, industry-leading technologies which reduce the environmental impact of how industries make and care for clothes.
The traditional wet processing methods used in industrial and domestic laundry and garment manufacturing consume billions of litres of fresh water and large amounts of energy and chemicals, as well as damaging and weakening clothing fibres and creating rising levels of environmental pollution. It is estimated that washing machines contribute 35% of the 171 trillion microplastic particles in the ocean.
A range of actors, including consumers, the media NGOs and regulators are exerting pressure on these industries, with legislative action beginning to be taken.
Xeros' three main technologies, Microfibre Filter, Laundry Care, and Garment Finishing, facilitate garment manufacturers, industrial laundries, domestic washing machine manufacturers and consumers, to reduce their environmental impact, whilst also significantly improving efficiency in the process.
Xeros' model is to generate revenue from licensing its technologies, generating royalties and the sale of consumables. Currently there are eight agreements in place. The addressable markets in Microfibre Filter, Laundry Care, and Garment Finishing are estimated to be valued at £350m p.a., £3bn p.a. and £132m p.a. respectively.
