Beazley Group PLC24 March 2006 24 March 2006 Beazley Group plc Purchase of shares by the Beazley Group plc Employee Benefit Trust The board of Beazley Group plc announces that Beazley Group plc Employee BenefitTrust acquired 2,330,877 ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company (0.6% of theissued share capital) at a cost of 118.9p per share on 23 March 2006. Theseshares will be used to fulfil awards that have been made under the RetentionPlan. The Beazley Group plc Employee Benefit Trust now owns 4,171,273 ordinary sharesof 5p each (1.2% of the issued share capital).
