Tullow Oil PLC28 March 2007 Tullow Oil PLC 28 March 2007 Tullow Oil plc ('Tullow' or 'the Company') The Company was notified on 27 March 2007 that the trustee of the Tullow OilEmployee Trust (the 'Trust') made the following purchases of Tullow Oil ordinaryshares of 10p each ('Ordinary Shares'):TRADE DATE SHARES PURCHASED PRICE PER SHARE26 March 2007 500,000 369.95p The Trust is a discretionary trust established by the Company for the benefit ofemployees of Tullow Oil plc and its subsidiaries. The shares were acquired tohedge the awards made under the Company's share incentive plans. The totalholding of the Trust following this transaction is 1,500,000 Ordinary Sharesrepresenting 0.209% of the Company's issued share capital.
