Low & Bonar PLC03 October 2005 Low & Bonar PLC Purchase of shares by Hill Samuel Offshore Trust Company Limited as trustee of the Low & Bonar 1995 Employees' Share Ownership Plan Trust Low & Bonar PLC (the "Company") announces that 149,142 ordinary shares of 50peach in the Company ("Shares") were purchased by Hill Samuel Offshore TrustCompany Limited as trustee of the Low & Bonar 1995 Employees' Share OwnershipPlan Trust (the "Trustee") on 3 October 2005 at 119p per share. The shares were purchased to satisfy the conditional deferred share award madeto Mr Paul Forman, Group Chief Executive, as detailed in the Company'sannouncement dated 7 September 2005. Following this purchase the Trustee holds 207,564 Shares. Mr Clegg, Mr Formanand Mr Kempster are for Companies Act purposes deemed to be interested in allthese 207,564 Shares.
