Purchase of shares by the Beazley Group plc Employee Benefit Trust

The board of Beazley Group plc announces that Beazley Group plc Employee Benefit Trust has purchased 1,348,610 ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company on 13th June 2008 at an average price of 118.5p to employees to satisfy awards of Retention shares.

The Beazley Group plc Employee Benefit Trust now owns 12,013,451 ordinary shares of 5p each (3.4% of the issued share capital).
