Purchase of shares by Employee Benefit Trust

Laird PLC (the "Company") was notified on 10 May 2016 that Zedra Trust Company (Isle of Man) Limited, as trustee of The Laird 1990 Employee Benefit Trust (the "1990 EBT"), had purchased 325,000 ordinary shares of 28.125 pence each in the capital of the Company between 6 May and 10 May 2016 at an average price of £3.415 per share.

Immediately following the above transaction, the 1990 EBT held 629,636 shares, representing approximately 0.23% of the Company's issued share capital.

As previously announced, The Laird PLC Employee Benefit Trust (the "EBT"), the Company's second Employee Benefit Trust, continues to hold 500,000 shares. In aggregate, the 1990 EBT and the EBT hold 1,129,636 shares, representing 0.42% of the Company's issued share capital.

It is anticipated that all Shares held by the 1990 EBT and EBT will be used to satisfy employee share awards.
