Purchase of shares by Employee Benefit Trust

EMPLOYEE BENEFIT TRUST

Laird PLC (the "Company") was notified on 3 March that Barclays Trust Company (Isle of Man) Limited, as trustee of The Laird Group PLC 1990 Employee Benefit Trust (the "EBT") had purchased 300,000 ordinary shares of 28.125 pence each in the capital of the Company ("Shares") at an average price of £3.528162 per share.

Immediately following the above transaction, the EBT held 1,054,916 shares, representing approximately 0.39% of the Company's issued share capital. All Shares held by the EBT will be used to satisfy employee share awards.
