Inchcape PLC16 May 2006 15 May 2006 INCHCAPE PLC Share re-purchase programme Inchcape plc ("the Company") announces that on 15 May 2006, it purchased 125,000ordinary shares of 25p each. The maximum price paid was 470.75p and the minimumprice paid was 461.763p The Company intends to hold these shares in treasury. Since the Company started buying back shares on 15 April 2005, it has acquired11,383,020 ordinary shares. Following the purchase of these shares the Companyholds 11,383,020 of its shares in treasury and has 469,104,000 shares in issue(excluding treasury shares).
