Purchase of own shares

SThree plc announces that on 25 September 2008, it purchased for cancellation, 44,245 ordinary shares of 1p each at an average price of 194.0642 pence per share.

The highest price paid was 197.375 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 191.50 pence per share.

For confirmation the Company's issued capital is now 124,154,232 ordinary shares of 1p each.
