Spark Ventures PLC06 February 2008 SPARK Ventures plc (the "Company") Purchase of own shares The Company announces that yesterday it purchased 250,000 of its Ordinary Sharesof 2.5p at a price of 10.25p per share. These shares will be held in Treasury. This purchase equates to 0.06% of the Company's issued share capital. For the purposes of the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure andTransparency Rules, the Company's total issued share capital at the date of thisnotice is £11,250,000 consisting of 450,000,000 Ordinary shares of 2.5p of which36,405,220 are now held as Treasury shares. The total number of voting rights inthe Company is therefore 413,594,780. The above figure of 413,594,780 may be used by shareholders as the denominatorfor the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notifytheir interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company, under theDisclosure and Transparency Rules.
