Purchase of own shares for cancellation
Charlemagne Capital Limited ("Charlemagne", the "Company") announces that on Tuesday 16 December 2008 it purchased for cancellation 1,455,000 Ordinary Shares of US$0.01 each in the Company through UBS Limited at an average price, before expenses, of 7.4973 pence each.
As a result of these purchase and cancellation, Charlemagne will have 280,810,673 Ordinary Shares of US$0.01 each in issue.
