Purchase of own shares

SThree plc announces that on 27 October 2008, it purchased for cancellation, 120,000 ordinary shares of 1p each at an average price of 147.9173 pence per share.

The highest price paid was 148.875 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 142.75 pence per share.

For confirmation the Company's issued capital is now 122,938,387 ordinary shares of 1p each.

Please note that on Friday 24th October the Company issued 1,500 new shares which are included in the above total.
