Purchase of Own Shares

Athens, June 1, 2017 - Hellenic Telecommunications Organization S.A. (OTE S.A. or Company), announces that on 31/5/2017, acquired 34,000 own shares, for an average price of €10.1464 per share, of total value €344,977.60, in accordance with article 16 of Codified Law 2190/1920, article 5 of (EU) Regulation No 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council, the provisions of the European Commission's Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/1052 and the resolutions of the Company's competent corporate bodies.

Following the aforementioned purchase, the Company holds 1,354,110 own shares, 0.276% of the total shares of the Company.

The announcement is issued in accordance with Regulation No 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council on market abuse and the Commission Delegated Regulation 2016/1052.
