NewMedia SPARK PLC07 April 2006 NewMedia SPARK plc (the "Company") Purchase of own shares 7 April 2006 The Company announces that on 6 April 2006 it purchased 350,000 of its OrdinaryShares of 2.5p at a price of 13.25p per share. These shares will be held in Treasury. This purchase equates to 0.08% of the Company's issued share capital.
