For immediate release Purchase of own securities

On 23 June 2008, Reckitt Benckiser Group plc acquired from Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited, 120,000 of its ordinary shares at an average price of ‚£27.3175 per ordinary share. These shares will be held as treasury shares.

Following the purchase and non-cancellation of these ordinary shares, the Company has:

1. 12,596,094 shares held as treasury shares ; and

2. 709,772,418 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares)
