Purchase of Grainger PLC Shares

The Grainger plc Employee Share Trust acquired, on 14 June 2010, 280,525 Grainger plc 5p ordinary shares at a price of 108.326p per share.

These shares are being held by the Grainger plc Employee Share Trust for the purpose of employee share schemes and brings its total holding to 5,457,148 shares.
