Cobham Wins Prime Supplier Status and Initial Order on $190M Department of Defense Blanket Purchase Agreement

ARLINGTON, Virginia - Cobham Analytic Solutions has been awarded a prime supplier position on a five-year, multiple-award, Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to provide professional services to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD), Developmental Test and Evaluation (DDT&E). This BPA has a total contract ceiling of $190 million for the base year and four option years.

In addition to winning the BPA, Cobham won the competition for Call Order #1 for a total value over five years of $6.3 million to provide professional services to the Deputy for Capability Development. Under this call order Cobham will review and analyze DoD directives, instructions, handbooks, and other related policy documentation, and evaluate the effectiveness of policy and guidance.

"This is the first prime award to Cobham for services in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, an area in which we have not previously competed," said Randy Morgan, president of Cobham Analytic Solutions. "On this order we are applying our test and evaluation expertise to assist DASD in the challenges of improving DT&E across the Department Of Defense."

Work on the contract started April 1, 2011 in the DASD office in Arlington, Virginia.
