SKY ANNOUNCES PUBLICATION OF UPDATED BASE PROSPECTUS
British Sky Broadcasting Group plc ("BSkyB") announced today that an updated base prospectus relating to its £1,000,000,000 Euro Medium Term Note Programme (the "Programme"),which includes the financial results to 30 June 2010, has been approved by the UK Listing Authority and is available for viewing. The Programme includes Barclays Capital acting as Arranger, and each of Banco Santander, S.A., Bank of China Limited, Barclays Bank plc, BNP Paribas, Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited, Deutsche Bank AG, J.P. Morgan Securities Ltd., Merrill Lynch International, Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc, Société Générale and the Royal Bank of Scotland as Dealers.
The programme provides BSkyB with a standardised documentation platform to allow for any future senior debt issuance in the Eurobond markets. BSkyB issued £300 million 6% Notes under the Programme in May 2007.
Potential issuers under the Programme are BSkyB and BSkyB Finance UK plc. The Programme is listed on the Regulated Market of the London Stock Exchange plc, and is rated Baa1 by Moody's (stable) and BBB by Standard and Poor's (positive outlook).
