Supplementary prospectus dated 11 April 2012 (the "Supplement") to the prospectus dated 7 November 2011 (together the "Prospectus") relating to the annual update by Aviva plc (the "Issuer") of its £5,000,000,000 Euro Note Programme, guaranteed in respect of senior notes by Aviva Insurance Limited. The programme enables the Issuer to issue debt instruments including a range of hybrid securities.
