Publication of Prospectus
Booker Group plc ("Booker" or "the Company") announces that it has today published its prospectus ("Prospectus") in connection with the admission to listing of its entire issued ordinary share capital on the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and admission to trading on the London Stock Exchange plc's main market for listed securities ("Admission").
It is expected that Admission will become effective and that dealing on the London Stock Exchange's main market will commence at 08.00 am on or around Wednesday 1 July 2009. Trading in the Company's ordinary shares on AIM will be cancelled simultaneously. The Company's TIDM code will continue to be BOK and, on Admission, there will be 1,488,679,080 ordinary shares in issue.
Copies of the Prospectus are available from the office of Booker at Equity House, Irthlingborough Road, Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, NN8 1LT and on the Company's website www.bookergroup.com.
The prospectus has also been submitted to the UKLA and will shortly be available for inspection at the UKLA's Document Viewing Facility situate at: Financial Services Authority, 25 The North Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London E14 5HS. This Prospectus is also available from inspection at the offices of Clifford Chance LLP, legal advisors to the Company at 10 Upper Bank Street, London E14 5JJ.
