BANK OF AMERICA CORPORATION PUBLICATION OF PROSPECTUS
Bank of America Corporation (the "Corporation") today announced that the following prospectus has been approved by the UK Listing Authority and is available for viewing:
Prospectus dated 1 September 2009 relating to the admission of 4,187,186,190 new shares of common stock of the Corporation (the "New Shares") to listing on the Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange (the "Prospectus").
Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for the New Shares to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority, and has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the New Shares to be admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities. It is expected that admission to the Official List will become effective and that dealings in the New Shares will commence on the London Stock Exchange at 8.00 a.m. on 4 September 2009.
