Publication of Circular and Notice of General Meeting
Further to the Company's announcement of 10 August 2016, Lookers announces that on 7 September 2016 it posted to shareholders an explanatory circular (the "Circular"), along with an accompanying form of proxy, to vote at the general meeting to be held at 10.30 a.m. on 29 September 2016 at the Company's registered office at 776 Chester Road, Stretford, Manchester, M32 0QH. The Circular will be available to view on the Company's website at www.lookersplc.com.
Capitalised terms not otherwise defined in this announcement shall have the meaning given to them in the Circular.
In accordance with LR 13.2.9, a copy of the Circular has been forwarded to the FCA for publication through the Document Viewing Facility and will be accessible via the National Storage Mechanism website at http://www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/NSM.
