Circular re: Proposed Disposal of C&C Spirits
Further to the announcement dated 30 April 2010 regarding the proposed disposal of C&C Spirits (the 'Disposal'), the Board of C&C announces that a circular has been posted to shareholders of the Company today.
The circular gives further details of the Disposal and contains a notice of the extraordinary general meeting of the Company to approve the Disposal (the 'EGM'). The EGM will be held at The Fitzwilliam Hotel, St. Stephen's Green, Dublin 2, Ireland at 11.00 a.m. on Wednesday 17 June 2010.
A copy of the circular has been forwarded to the Irish Stock Exchange and the Financial Services Authority and will shortly be available for inspection at the following addresses:
