Publication of Circular and Notice of Extraordinary General Meeting
Dublin and London 6 February, 2018: Further to the announcement by Independent News & Media PLC (INM ID, INM LN) on 19 January regarding an Extraordinary General Meeting ("EGM") of the Company to be held in Dublin on Thursday 1 March, 2018 in relation to the appointment of four new non-executive Directors to the Board, the Company confirms that a circular ("Circular") incorporating a Notice of EGM has today been issued to shareholders and is available on the Company's website at www.inmplc.com.
The EGM has been convened for 11.00 a.m. on 1 March, 2018 at The Alex Hotel, 41-47 Fenian Street, Dublin 2, Ireland.
The Circular incorporating the Notice of EGM has been submitted to the Irish Stock Exchange and the UK's National Storage Mechanism, and will shortly be available for inspection as follows:
